General Contractors are invited to submit an offer under seal to the Nebraska City Public Schools for interior renovations at Hayward Elementary School located 306 S 14th Street, Nebraska City, NE 68410.
Bids will be received at the Nebraska City Public Schools District Office, located at 1700 14th Avenue, Nebraska City, Nebraska 68410.before 2:00 pm local standard time on the 4th day of March 2025.
Project Description:
Interior renovation in 6 adjoined classrooms. Work includes demolition of movable partition walls, hollow metal window frames, carpet and ceiling tile as required, and construction of new metal stud partition walls and hollow metal frames with wood doors.
A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on February 19, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the Hayward Elementary School located at 306 S 14TH ST, Nebraska City, Nebraska 68410. All General Contractors planning to submit a bid are invited to attend.
Bid Documents for a Stipulated Sum contract may be obtained by download in PDF format from JEO’s website at jeo.com for a nonrefundable fee of $30.00. Paper copies of the Bid Documents are available at the office of JEO free of charge upon receipt of a refundable deposit, by cash or check, in the amount of $50.00 for one set if returned within 21 days of Notice of Award in reusable condition. All other requested sets will be at the expense of the contractor to cover actual printing costs.
For plans and specifications that are to be shipped
1. Include a non-refundable $15.00 shipping and handling fee for each set of plans and specifications.
2. Submit the fee as a separate check.
Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount.
Bid security shall be made payable to Nebraska City Public Schools and will be held by the Owner. In case the bid is accepted and the Bidder neglects or refuses to enter into contract and furnish bond in accordance there with, the bid security will be forfeited.
